Neyenesch Printers-Steve Burke

Through 119 years of operations, San Diego based Neyenesch Printers have been servicing commercial printing for many top businesses and incorporations. It was interesting to see that Max Escobedo's magazine was printed within Neyenesch's facility. Also, it was fascinating to learn about how light and dark variations are created with the illusion of varied dot sizes of ink. This particular aspect I referred in my own mind as a stippling technique. The process of working from the darkest colors to the lightest colors in print was not only thought provoked but also somewhat of a technique given that lighter colors are less contaminated.
